Stealth Direct Drive Turntable

Music Hall, a home audio company that’s been around since 1985, has announced its first direct-drive turntable: the Stealth Turntable.

The company states that its newest turntable combines a rugged construction with high-performance audio features, and a number of easy-to-use options that are generally associated with entry-level turntables.

Explaining some of the Stealth Turntable’s features, Music Hall says that its new turntable incorporates a quiet direct-drive, brushless motor that is permanently adjusted to eliminate the problem of belt slippage and belt replacement. The turntable also incorporates a 4-pound aluminum platter that is dampened with rubber on its underside, and it is topped with a vibration-damping rubber mat.

Other features built into the Stealth turntable include a multi-layer plinth and adjustable vibration-damping feet to help isolate the turntable from airborne- and structural-borne vibration and feedback.

Music Hall emphasizes the Stealth Turntable offers users an aluminum tonearm with adjustable vertical tracking angle (VTA) that can be adjusted on the fly, as well as auto shut-off, automatic standby mode, and touch-activated electronic speed control that provides a choice of 33 1/3, 45 and 78 speeds.

In addition, Music Hall ships the direct drive Stealth Turntable with an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge that is mounted and aligned.
