Adding an ambient light rejecting (ALR) micro-perf screen solution to its product line, Seymour-Screen Excellence (SSE) has introduced its Ambient-Visionaire Black 0.8MP screen product.
SSE explains that its latest acoustically transparent (AT) product is available in a choice of fixed-frame styles, and it enables integrators to place center channel, left and right speakers behind the screen to hide the speakers and mimic the layout of commercial cinemas.
The micro-perforated Ambient-Visionaire Black 0.8 is said to be a room-friendly version of the company’s Ambient-Visionaire Black 0.9 gain ultra-wide ALR screen material. SSE creates the micro-perf version of the screen by precisely punching ~120 holes / inch2 (each 0.02-inch in diameter) into the 0.9 surface.
According to the company, the screen products’ light absorption capabilities, along with their 90-degree viewing angles allows integrators to use the products in a variety of room environments, including entertainment rooms, home theaters and multipurpose rooms.
SSE adds the rest of its Ambient-Visionaire product line offers a choice of Black 1.2, 0.9, 0.8MP screens, as well as its silver 2.1 and 1.3 gain screen products.
