The new audio manufacturer Perlisten Audio has added to its product line with the announcement of its new S Series of loudspeakers.
Perlisten Audio says the line includes the S7t floorstanding loudspeaker and the companion S7c matching center-channel loudspeaker.
Explaining the S Series’ $8,000 each S7t floorstanding loudspeaker, the company says the speaker is a THX Certified Dominus loudspeaker that utilizes a four-way design. Through its Dominus certification the speaker is designed to fill rooms as large as 6,500-square feet with 20 feet of distance between the screen and main seating area.
The S Series S7t is rated to produce distortion below .5% at 90dB listening levels and it offers distortion limits at 120dB sound pressure levels (SPLs).
Perlisten Audio’s complementary S Series product is the S7c center-channel loudspeaker.
Like the S7t tower, the S7c utilizes the company’s Directivity Pattern Control (DPC) array that includes Perlisten Audio’s 28mm Beryllium dome and dual 28mm TPCD domes.
Additionally, Perlisten points out that its new center-channel loudspeaker delivers a wide horizontal dispersion pattern and controlled vertical image, which it says is essential for home theater.
Moreover, the S7c center-channel speaker, like thee S7t floorstanding loudspeaker is a THX Dominus certified product.
