Lowell Manufacturing, a Pacific, Mo.-based company that offers a range of solutions for the professional AV market, has just introduced its CR2P Series Open Frame Racks.
The company says that its new racks are made in the United States with U.S. certified steel, and finished with a smooth black powder epoxy. Lowell Manufacturing emphasizes the CR2P Series Open Frame Racks are also E.I.A./T.I.A. compliant, and it ships the products in a choice of sizes to meet integrators’ requirements.
Describing the newly announced racks, Lowell Manufacturing says the products feature six-inch wide channel rails to offer stable support for large bundles of cables. The rails incorporate round holes tapped 12-24 in front, and square holes for cage nuts in the back.
According to the Midwestern company, the CR2P Series racks also provide integrators with numerous tie-off points, pass-through holes, and quarter-turn (twist lock) cable managers that can be mounted in front, the back, the sides or inside the racks.
In addition to the CR2P Series, Lowell has also announced its NR2P Series of products. Lowell Manufacturing says this product line offers unrestricted airflow and full access to mounted equipment. The 20-inch wide racks can be used for installations in wiring closets, telecommunications centers and broadcast or data applications.
A third series of racks that were also introduced is the NR4P product line.
Lowell says the NR4P Series feature three-inch wide channel rails with 12-24 tapped holes on E.I.A. spacing in the front and rear of the racks. The NR4P racks are available with 45U and 52U panel spaces.
