Klipsch 75th Anniversary Klipschorn Speakers

The Indianapolis, Ind.-based audio company Klipsch is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a limited run of 75 pairs of its Klipschorn loudspeakers.

Klipsch explains the Klipschorn loudspeaker was originally developed by its founder Paul W. Klipsch back in 1946 to allow users to, “experience the power, detail and emotion of a live performance at home.” The company states the speaker has been continuous production for 75 years, and it has for the most part, remained unchanged over the decades according to Klipsch.

The limited-edition 75th anniversary Klipschorn AK6 incorporates a fully enclosed low frequency horn cabinet to provide homeowners and integrators with room placement flexibility. Klipsch points out the speaker can reside in corners and it is capable of delivering, “powerful bass and improved imaging” through its 1-inch titanium tweeters and 90-degree x 40-degree Tractrix horn that helps the speaker produce frequencies above 20kHz.

Aesthetically, Klipsch notes that is limited-edition Klipschorn loudspeaker employs a real-wood teak veneer, along with lambswool grilles, and a 75th logo on front of the speaker that includes a diamond that accentuates the specially designed logo.

Klipsch adds the speakers also come with a 75th-anniversary book, poster, lighted logo sign; Klipsch T5 II earphones with a 75th anniversary logo, a set of four leather coasters; a one-year membership to the Klipsch Museum of Audio History, a three-month Qobuz membership, and a certificate of authenticity.
