Stepping up to help a growing number of record owners to take care of their record collections, Groove Washer has introduced its affordable Record and Stylus Care System.
The newly introduced record and stylus care product offers analog audio enthusiasts a complete kit that is easy to use. Groove Washer says that its entry-level vinyl and stylus cleaning product includes a cleaning pad covered in a micro-fiber fabric. The pad measures 5-inches by 3.5-inches by 1.5-inches, and the company says the pad is highly absorbent to perform functions such as wiping away dust, dirt and other grime that collects on records. Groove Washer also notes the cleaning pad is easy to clean once it becomes dirty.
Groove Washer’s Record & Stylus Care System also comes with the company’s 4-ounce mist spray bottle of G2 High Tech Record Cleaning Fluid that is said to offer as many as 500 mist sprays to clean records. Other products in the kit include the SC1 Stylus Brush that incorporates a 4.6-inch long curved handle with fine-nylon bristles that are designed to remove lint and other elements from a cartridge stylus.
Supporting the use of the stylus brush is Groove Washer’s SC1 Stylus Cleaning Fluid. The liquid is made with low alcohol and technical surfactants that are intended to dissolve dirt and grime on the stylus quickly without harming the cartridge.
In addition, the Groove Washer Record & Stylus Care System kit includes a record label protector mask that keeps the record label dry during the cleaning process.
