The Schlage Encode Smart WiFi Deadbolt provides homeowners with a deadbolt lock product that offers several modern conveniences.
The Allegion brand says the smart lock is compatible with Ring video doorbells and cameras via Key by Amazon integration to allow secure remote access for homeowners that are Amazon Prime members for example.
According to the company, the Schlage Encode Smart WiFi Deadbolt lock can be setup and used via traditional keys or from the Schlage Home apps. Through the compatibility with Ring, the company explains that its goal is to streamline home security for homeowners by enabling the control of the lock in tandem with Ring products, which includes the Ring app.
Other features built into the Schlage Encode Smart WiFi Deadbolt include the ability to manage as many as 100 unique guest access codes, as well as the ability to schedule codes for specific times during the day. The scheduling option allows for recurring times, temporary times or single-use times.
Additionally, the lock also provides a log of activities to allow homeowners to see when the lock has been accessed, and it provides homeowners with low-battery warnings.
Moreover, homeowners and integrators can build in alarm warnings based on the type of disturbance detected, and homeowners can utilize voice control options via Alexa.
