Adding to its selection of Trevoce subwoofers, OSD Audio has introduced its OSD Black Trevoce 15EQ DSP 1500W Triple 15-inch Subwoofer.
The latest subwoofer from the OSD Black brand provides integrators with 150-square inches of driver surface area, along with an amplifier that’s capable of producing up to 1,500 watts. The company says the new OSD Black Trevoce 15EQ DSP 1500W Triple 15-inch Subwoofer is designed to reach levels as low as 16Hz at +/-3dB and 14Hz at +/-10dB.
Internally, the new triple 15-inch subwoofer features a a graphite and paper composite main driver that offers low resonance properties. The main driver is augmented by a pair of glass-fiber passive radiators, and OSD Audio explains the built-in, fixed DSP EQ is tuned to produce 16Hz.
Supporting the installation of the Trevoce 15EQ DSP 1500W Triple 15-inch Subwoofer is a companion DSP EQ app. Integrators can use this optional app to fine tune the frequency response of the subwoofer to help it blend into a range of home environments.
Externally, the new OSD Black Trevoce subwoofer utilizes a leather-look type of finish, and to add to its functionality, the Brea, Calif.-based manufacturer points outs the sub measures a room friendly 20 inches x 20 inches by 20 inches.
