Mackie a manufacturer of professional audio products that include mixers, in-ear monitors (IEMs) and amplifiers, has announced its SRT Series of loudspeakers.
Designed to serve users as versatile, value-minded powered speakers, the new line offers a choice of four models: SRT210, SRT212 and SRT215.
Mackie says the SRT Series of speakers are built around three pillars: performance, build quality and intelligent design. Underscoring these pillars, the company says the speakers are capable of high levels of output, and they incorporate sturdy molded cabinets to support their use in a range of environments. Mackie also points out the speakers feature options such as its Advanced Impulse DSP input overload protection and wireless streaming and control capabilities.
Taking a closer look at the SRT Series of speakers, Mackie explains the SRT210 employs a 10-inch speaker and 1,600-watt amplifier. The speaker produces up to 128dB and it includes Mackie’s SRT Mix Control built-in four channel mixer with full-color display.
The SRT212 incorporates a 12-inch woofer that’s powered by a 1,600-watt amplifier, and it is capable of producing SPLs up to 132dB. The SRT215 features a 15-inch speaker that’s powered by a 1,600-watt amplifier, and it is capable of producing SPLs up to 133dB.
Rounding out the line is the SR18S Professional powered subwoofer. This product incorporates an 18-inch speaker and 1,600-watt amplifier. It provides an adjustable crossover and unique voicing modes.
All of the products work with Mackie’s SRT Connect app for iOS and Android for wireless control.
