Hunter Douglas, a manufacturer of custom window treatments, has announced its PowerView+ and PowerView AC products.
These new product options were developed to provide a pair of installation options for a premium automated shade experience.
The company explains its PowerView+ is a low-voltage, hardwired shading control system that incorporates communications to enable the product reliably work with automated Hunter Douglas shades.
Hunter Douglas says the PowerView AC provides RF control of 120-volt AC powered Designer Roller Shades and Designer Screen Shades.
Both new solutions employ “ultra-quiet motors,” along with Hunter Douglas’ PowerView Hub that serves as the central point of control of the shades and interface to work with third-party systems.
According to the company, size options have increased for many shade styles across the PowerView Automation system, including shade sizes up to 156-inches wide x 180-inches high for Designer Screen Shades.
Hunter Douglas adds pricing for these custom options are also based on the choice of style, fabric, color and size.
