“The new products offer distributors and dealers 4K HDMI extender and clock re-synthesizer/conditioner solutions, as well as a new extender option for digital/analog installations,” says the company in a press release.
“Utilizing compact designs, stringent quality control and accessible price points, Vanco offers the largest, highest-value and most technologically advanced selection of extenders on the market to create installations that are both simple to install and maintain.”
Here is a brief look at the new Vanco products:
Vanco HD4KEX30 HDMI 4K Extender
The HD4KEX30 HDMI 4K Extender is the latest Vanco 4K extender. The HD4KEX30 is capable of transmitting high dynamic range (HDR), along with UltraHD over a single Cat-5e or Cat-6 cable.
More specifically, HD4KEX30 supports 4K at 60Hz up to 98 feet (30 meters), as well as 4K at 30Hz, and 1080p at 60Hz up to 164 feet (50 meters).
The HD4KEX30 extender also offers auto EDID/EQ management, IR callback from display to source, and audio support for formats such as LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio.
Vanco HD4KCLK 4K HDMI Clock Re-Synthensizer/Conditioner
Another new 4K HDMI installation solution, the HD4KCLK 4K HDMI Clock Re-Synthensizer/Conditioner solves issues related to clock stretching or timing and multiple layer cascading.
Vanco says the HD4KCLK 4K HDMI Clock Re-Synthensizer/Conditioner receives HDMI signals and resynthensizes, conditions, and equalizes them with its “state-of-the-art jitter-cleaning” technologies. The result is an improvement in transmission distance and signal integrity.
The product supports 4K at 60Hz, 4:4:4 chorma subsampling, along with HDR10 and Dolby Vision HDR, and is HDMI 2.0a compliant.
PulseAudio PA-EXTDA Digital-Analog Audio Extender
PulseAudio's PA-EXTDA Digital-Analog Audio Extender allows audio to extend over a single Cat-5e/Cat-6 cable, with transmission of analog signals via a 3.5mm connection up to 557 feet (170 meters).
The product also works with digital audio signals, and can transmit digital audio as far as 951 feet (290 meters).
Integrators can select signal type via a toggle switch, and its Toslink, Coax and RCA audio outputs are all synchronized for simultaneous use to deliver digital and analog audio signals to as many as three separate devices without latency.
In addition, it works with PCM, DTS, and Dolby's various audio formats. Through its POC technology, the transmitter can be powered by the receiving unit for streamlined installations.
