Samsung Adds Three New OLED TVs in 2025 Release

Samsung says its new S95F TV is its most advanced OLED TV to date, released alongside two other OLED models.

Samsung is launching three new OLED TV models in 2025, featuring screen sizes up to 83 inches and what the company says is its most advanced glare-free OLED technology and AI features designed to optimize image and audio quality.

Vision AI Coming to S95F, S90F and S85F OLEDs

Like other 2025 TV releases from Samsung, the new OLED TVs feature Vision AI that includes tools like Click to Search for instant access to content recommendations and actor bios, as well as  Live Translate for instant subtitles on any live broadcast. The TVs will also come with a “Live Translate” AI-powered feature helps users enjoy content in their preferred language, instantly translating subtitles on any live broadcast.

Samsung Vision AI also adds new Samsung SmartThings features like “Pet Care” and “Family Care,” which gives access to live video of their living rooms through connected cameras and delivers alerts if a pet or child needs attention. The OLED TVs inclusion of Samsung Vision AI also powers features such as “Home Insights” that provides notifications from smart devices right on homeowners’ screens, including a 3D Map View that shows the entire smart home at a glance.

Some of the other amenities Samsung’s 2025 OLED TVs offers include “Universal Gestures” that let’s users control their TVs through Galaxy Watch with simple hand motions like rotating the watch bezel to scroll the screen, or making a fist to return to a previous menu.

These features, along with a range of popular apps and services will be available through One UI Tizen which Samsung says is the next evolution of its Tizen OS. Samsung points out that One UI Tizen enhances the look and feel of Tizen OS, with a refreshed layout that mirrors the interface of many Samsung smartphones, tablets and Galaxy watches.

The new OS also allows integrators or homeowners to create separate profiles for each member of a household to enjoy suggested shows, movies and other curated content curated. Additionally, the global electronics company says it is providing seven years of OS updates for the OLED TVs to help ensure that homeowners have access to the latest apps and services for many years to come.

Samsung S95F OLED

The 2025 flagship Samsung OLED TV is the S95F, featuring what Samsung says is its best OLED glare-free technology along with the company’s brightest-ever OLED screen and OLED HDR Pro.

The new OLED also comes with the NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, also featured in new versions of The Frame, that upscales content into 4K resolution.

The S95F also features the company’s Motion Xcelerator technology that brings a 165Hz refresh rate when gaming.

“Together, these upgrades make the S95F our best OLED yet, offering a cinematic picture without distractions,” the company says.

Currently, the S95F is only available in sizes of 55-, 65-, and 77-inches, with an 83-inch size rolling out soon. Currently, prices by size are:

  • 77-inch Class S95F carries a retail price of $4,499
  • 65-inch Class S95F carries a retail price of $3,299
  • 55-inch Class S95F carries a retail price of $2,299

Pricing for the 83-inch S95F model will be released at a later date.

In a statement, Lydia Cho, head of product for the company’s U.S. home entertainment business, says the idea behind the S95F is flexibility and the ability to watch content without being affected by sunlight and ambient lighting.

“Our flagship S95F series offers all of that and more, featuring our best OLED Glare-Free technology yet, while maintaining pure blacks, clean whites, dramatic contrast and truly breathtaking, Pantone-validated color,” Cho said. “Paired with our most advanced 4K processor, an upgraded refresh rate and a 30% brightness boost, you’ll experience the most realistic picture possible on a Samsung OLED TV.”

Samsung S90F OLED

Meanwhile, the mid-tier S90F OLED series has many of the same features, such as the AI processor, 4K upscaling, and more, but with slightly less advanced HDR and refresh rates (144Hz via Motion Xcelerator).

The TV also features AI Motion Enhancer Pro to sharpen and smooth fast-moving objects, and users can leverage Object Tracking Sound Lite, Active Voice Amplifier Pro, and Adaptive Sound Pro to tailor the audio to their space and content, the company says.

The S90F will come in six sizes and will be priced as follows:

  • 42-inch Class S90F retail price is $1,299
  • 48-inch Class S90F retail price is $1,499
  • 55-inch Class S90F retail price is $1,799
  • 65-inch Class S90F retail price is $2,499
  • 77-inch Class S90F retail price is $3,499
  • 83-inch Class S90F retail price is $5,399

Samsung S85F OLED

The most affordable OLED in the lineup, the S85F, Samsung says, comes powered by the NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor for image and audio optimization, 4K AI upscaling, and a lower 120Hz Motion Xcelerator refresh rate.

The model also includes Color Booster Pro, which uses AI to analyze each scene and deliver vivid colors and detail. The entire 2025 OLED lineup, including this lower-end model, features Pantone-validated color that Samsung says brings deep blacks and vivid colors to the screen.

Not surprisingly, the S85F is priced slightly lower than Samsung’s other 2025 OLEDs with the pricing as follows:

  • 83-inch Class S85F retail price is $4,499
  • 77-inch Class S85F retail price is $2,999
  • 65-inch Class S85F retail price is $1,999
  • 55-inch Class S85F retail price is $1,499

Samsung TV Plus

In addition, the popular consumer electronics company stresses that its 2025 OLED TVs provide a range of value-added features such as Samsung TV Plus, which it says offers  hundreds of live TV channels, as well as thousands of on-demand TV programs and movies for free.

Moreover, gamers can game without having to use a computer or gaming console through the Samsung Gaming Hub. This solution provides access to thousands of cloud-based gaming titles from Xbox, Nvidia GeForce NOW, Amazon Luna, and other gaming companies.
