Short-throw projectors are a convenient way to add a big-screen picture to a home without hanging a TV on the wall. Salamander Designs has announced its X/SNY245 Credenza, facilitating the ease of placing projectors in a home, including Sony's new VPL-VZ1000ES short-throw projector.
Sony's UltraHD 4K HDR projector produces 2,500 lumens, and is capable of delivering a 120-inch image from less than 8.5-inches away from a screen.
The Salamander credenza features an extruded aluminum frame for strength and rigidity. Salamander says the piece of furniture offers internal storage that can be used in a variety of ways by homeowners.

Some of the credenza's other options include a choice of bolt-on options to augment the ergonomics of the product, as well as electronics-friendly options such as active cooling and built-on louvers to support proper airflow and the cooling of stored electronic components.
Integrators can locate an A/V system's companion speakers within the credenza, and pinch-out rear panels allow installers to easily access cabling connections and stored components.
