Ambisonic Systems by Origin Acoustics is set to introduce a collection of luxury landscape speakers to complement its new Hexagonal Bollards—honeycomb shaped outdoor loudspeaker products.
Each speaker, the Texas-based manufacturer states will feature Ambisonic Systems’ proprietary acoustic technology and a new hexagonal modern design to compliment any residential or commercial outdoor space. Origin Acoustics also notes that all Ambisonic landscape speakers feature high-performance round planar magnetic ribbon tweeter technologies that are said to provide superior high frequency reproduction and clarity with lower distortion at higher power levels, as well as adjustable impedance settings for 8 ohms and 70 volt/100 volt.
The Ambisonic Systems Landscape Speaker Collection is comprised of Bollard and satellite speakers in three sizes, a surface mount speaker and subwoofer.
Origin Acoustics Ambisonic Systems Hexagonal Bollards Available in a Choice of Sizes and Finishes
Helping the new, soon-to-launch bollards blend into a variety of outdoor environments, Origin Acoustics points out the product line will be offered in several versions that include:
- The new Origin Acoustics Bollard speakers are offered in a choice of three sizes: ALSB106 10-inch subwoofer with a 6.5-inch driver; the ALSB85 8-inch subwoofer with 5.5-inch driver, and the ALSB64 that incorporates a 6.5-inch woofer and 4.5-inch driver.
- Origin is rolling out three satellite landscape speakers: A version with a 3.5-inch driver, a model with a 5 1/4-inch driver, and a speaker with a six-inch driver.
- The company will debut a new surface-mount landscape speaker with a 6.5-inch driver.
- Rounding out Origin Acoustic’s new Ambisonic products that will be seen for the first time at CEDIA Expo 2024 is the company’s Landscape Subwoofer that features an 8-inch woofer.
Ambisonic Systems speaker sleeves are made using premium aluminum for its superior acoustic properties, ability to withstand harsh outdoor elements; aluminum’s natural beauty, and the material’s sustainability benefits for the environment. The sleeve styles are available in three colors to complement any outdoor environment—midnight black, stargazing silver, and champaign—and are backed by a five-year warranty.
Origin Acoustics adds the Ambisonic Systems Bollard landscape speakers now shipping. The collection’s satellite, surface mount and subwoofer will be available Spring 2025.
