Bundling audio and video together, the new $2,999 Optoma P1 Smart 4K UHD Laser Cinema system incorporates nearly everything a homeowner will need to enjoy a multichannel 4K A/V experience.
At CES 2019, Optoma will be exhibiting at Westgate Hospitality Suites (suite #2907) during the annual trade event, and its exhibit will include the P1 Smart 4K UHD Laser Cinema system.

The P1 Smart 4K UHD Laser Cinema system offers homeowners a 4K ultra-short throw projector, along with soundbar technologies from its sister brand NuForce, and voice control capabilities from both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
According to the company, the P1 projector produces up to 3,000 lumens of brightness, as well as 8.3-million pixels to allow integrators to set up systems with screen sizes as big as 120 inches with 4K video.
The projector also supports the HDR10 and hybrid log gamma (HLG) high dynamic range (HDR) formats.

The NuForce soundbar employs individual woofers, full-range aluminum drivers and isolated enclosures to produce, “crystal-clear sound, balanced midrange and wide frequency response, producing realistic vocals for enhanced TV and movie watching experiences,” according to NuForce.
Offering a choice of Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus surround sound decoding, the NuForce soundbar portion of the system utilizes the company's audio technologies to produce immersive multichannel audio.
The system's inclusion of Amazon Alexa and Google Home Assistant technologies helps the system integrate into a variety of control systems.
In addition, Optoma offers its Connect App for more control and setup options, and it also provides streaming options with services such as YouTube and Netflix to help round out the system's entertainment capabilities.
The system will be available sometime during the second quarter of 2019.
