It's likely that when dealers think about Metra Home Theater, the first thing to come to mind is wires and cabling, but the company also offers signal transmission and security products.
Focusing on the security side, the Florida-based company has added to its Spyclops series a new 8-Channel Wireless NVR Kit.
The surveillance system (SPY-NVR8720W) includes the company's Spyclops Wireless Bullet Cameras, power supplies, a range-extending antenna and a mouse to facilitate installations.
“Our new Wireless NVR Kit was designed as an all-in-one solution for integrators looking for a pre-bundled package that includes all necessary components,” says Jessy Crab, general manager, Metra Home Theater Group. “Our Spyclops products are known for their reliable technology, high-quality resolutions and versatile features. We invite those attending CES 2017 to visit our booth and learn more about the latest technology we have to offer from our Spyclops, Ethereal and Helios lines.”
Metra says the turnkey security kit features an 8-channel NVR with wireless connectivity, as well as a 1TB built-in hard drive, support for 720p HD video and the choice of HDMI or VGA outputs.
The kit also includes eight Spyclops Wireless Bullet Cameras that utilize a 1/4-inch 3.6mm fixed lens. The cameras have the ability to produce a 720p HD resolution and deliver auto 3D-DNR capabilities.
Metra designed the package as a complete turnkey solution to enable dealers to quickly deliver easy-to-use security systems to clients that include the ability to remotely access their systems via its companion Spyclops app. The cameras comply with the IP66 water resistance and outdoor rating.
Dealers attending CES 2017 can see the 8-Channel Wireless NVR Kit, along with Metra's cabling and signal transmission products in Central Hall booth #11127 from Jan. 5-8 in Las Vegas.
