The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) has announced the 2022 KBIS exhibitors selected to participate in the high-energy KBIS NeXT Stage program, DesignBites. The event will take place at noon on February 8, 2022, during the Feb. 8-10 show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Selected brands represent a cross-section of new-to-market and larger, established brands. The lineup is sure to set the tone for the many innovations featured across the show floor.

“We continue to be inspired by the many new and established brands who are driving our industry,” says Suzie Williford, EVP and chief strategy officer for show owner NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association).

“Kitchens and baths continue to be the rooms – inside and out – that define the trends for residential living whether integrating whole-home technology, living in place concepts or simply advancing beautiful living. The products featured in our annual DesignBites challenge arguably set the pace for our industry.”

Here are the KBIS 2022 DesignBites exhibitors:

  • Moen
  • LG Electronics
  • Emtek
  • Beko US
  • Signature Kitchen Suite
  • Cooksy Corporation
  • Fotile America Inc.
  • Brondell
  • Belwith Keeler

DesignBites 2022 will include live and in-person voting to recognize the kitchen and bath brand with the biggest bite.

Last year, during the virtual edition of KBIS, LG took the DesignBites honor for its smart and sleek Studio WashTower washer/dryer featuring the company’s Center Control intelligence & AI ThinQ technologies.

‘Biggest Bite’ Award Returns; ‘People’s Pick’ Award Added

DesignBites created the “Biggest Bite” Award in 2020, recognizing the brand that has the best combination of presentation, product and innovation. This year, attending media and the Designhounds Influencer Network, the leading community of design micro influencers, managed by Modenus Media, will judge in real time to recognize the best presenting brand.

The winner will receive a product feature in KBB Magazine, live social coverage from the KBIS social media team, booth signage and a prize pack to celebrate with their team.

New for 2022 is a People’s Pick Award, NKBA notes. As one of the most well-attended events on the NeXT Stage, this year DesignBites invites the full audience to actively participate by voting for the most entertaining presentation. Votes will be tallied in real-time and announced from the Stage after all participating exhibitors have concluded.

HGTV personality Darren Keefe, from “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” and “Fix My Fail” programs, will continue his role as perennial DesignBites host. Last year, Keefe fielded live questions from designers following recorded pitches from the participating manufacturers.

DesignBites will be held on the KBISNeXT Stage in the South Hall of the Orange County Convention Center. Members of the media can contact KBIS@whitegood.com to RSVP.
