Josh.ai is celebrating a decade of business, and as part of the company’s celebration, it has introduced a limited edition golden version of its Josh One processor in a metallic-gold finish.
Josh Commemorates ‘State-of-the-Art’ Product in Metallic-Gold Finish
Josh.ai points out that since its founding back in 2015 it has aimed to provide integration professionals with state-of-the-art product solutions that utilize AI (artificial intelligence) technologies.
Elaborating on its 10th anniversary milestone, the Denver-based company states that its limited edition Josh One with the metallic-gold finish will only be available in limited quantities to current Josh.ai dealers.
“The last 10 years have flown by thanks to the excitement and commitment of our partners. We are product to have built a company focused on building dealers the solutions they need to enable simple, magical, and private smart home experiences in the era of AI,” comments Alex Capecelatro, CEO, Josh.ai.
“It has been a wild ride for our time with so many memorable moments and achievements, and I cannot wait to see where Josh.ai will be in another decade.”
Limited Release Reflects on 10 Year Smart Home Legacy
According to the company, it has built a brand with mass-market appeal, while staying true to its roots as a professionally installed product line. Josh.ai suggests that over the past decade it has established itself as a leader in AI-based, voice control technologies with more than 2,000 authorized dealers across the U.S.
Looking back over the past 10 years, the company recalls shipping the first Josh.ai product on a Mac Mini back in 2016. A year later, it continues it began shipping its Josh Micro to bring voice control and AI-based automation to a broader audience through the professional smart home industry. Later by 2020 the company introduced its Josh Nano and Josh Core products.
By 2021 the company goes on to note it formed an alliance with Lutron and together the companies launched the Josh.ai Ready Wallplate that combines Lutron keypads with Josh Nano architectural microphones.
More recently the company has entered into a partnership with AVA, and in 2023 the smart home control company introduced its JoshGPT’s limitless intelligent assistance, along with the Josh One control processor.
Looking back on 2024, Josh.ai announced its AI OS software that serves as the foundation of the Josh App, and started shipping its Josh Touchscreen. Additionally, Josh.ai previewed its Josh Edge to dealers as a simple hard-button remote. The company says it plans to ship the Josh Edge remote sometime in 2025.
