Gearing up for CEDIA 2017, CE Pro spoke to Indre Deksnyte, SVP of marketing and sales at CUJO, about what the company has in store for CEDIA attendees in booth #739.

If you'd like to become a CUJO dealer, contact CEO Einaras von Gravrock at evg@getcujo.com or call 310-384- 5790.

What would you say to dealers who are stumbling across your company for the first time?

CUJO is an IoT security company. Its primary product is a software platform for ISPs, enabling ISPs to protect their customers against intrusions. CUJO also retails a smart hardware firewall, which is available in stores across the US.

CUJO's three key features are network security, automatic device identification with friendly names, and parental controls. Users install an iOS/Android app to get threat notifications and to manage their online experience.

Our mission at CUJO is to protect homes and users against the growing threats of home hacking. Stop by to learn more about CUJO at booth #739.

What would you say to dealers who are already familiar with your product line?

We want CUJO to be the ubiquitous solution protecting individuals online.

In the coming months, that means releasing additional products, such as VPN, private DNS, Ad Blocking technology, and cloud based AV Device Vulnerability Scanning. In the coming years, expect to see CUJO security in your car and on the go. Be a part of our journey.

If a dealer/integrator stops by your booth with only 5 minutes to spare, what’s the one product he should examine or one question he should ask?

He should examine CUJO and ask this one question: How can I protect my customers from being hacked?

Think of your closest competitor (company or product). What is one thing you offer that they don’t? Please be specific.

CUJO offers a unique network security solution to home users. The closest alternative is antivirus software. However antivirus only protects your laptop, not your tablets or other connected devices. If antivirus aims to protect your front door (laptop), CUJO will ensure that the bad guys don’t enter through the window or back door (smartphone and tablet).

Unlike CUJO which adapts to threats in real-time, antivirus only protects you against malware that was documented a few months prior. Antivirus fails too often because hackers now use sophisticated methods to evolve their hacks in real-time. By the time traditional solutions flag hacks as malicious, hackers change their patterns and fingerprints.

Traditional security solutions are outdated with cybercriminals creating new ways to reach into our homes every day. CUJO uses threat intelligence, machine learning, and cloud-computing to analyze your device behavior. When we see a threat — we block it and notify all other CUJOs about the threat. You will get a friendly notification on your CUJO app that your home is safe.

Why are you looking forward to CEDIA coming to San Diego for the first time?

We are excited to contribute at CEDIA. We are sure that CEDIA will bring all the professionals together. We are looking forward to meet and greet dealers who would be interested in a collaboration with us. Also CEDIA will help us to expand by showcasing our product and services and communicating our key message.
