“At CEDIA 2016, RTI will highlight the newest additions to our lineup of control solutions, and share exciting news of how we're building toward the future,” says RTI director of communications Brett Stokke.

“The star of our show will be the long-anticipated Integration Designer APEX software — with demonstrations illustrating how the programming platform will dramatically speed up the installation process while maintaining the ease of customization we’re known for,” Stokke continues. “Beyond products and software, RTI is excited to introduce five new business managers that will provide sales support in regions across the U.S. and Canada.”

The new Integration Designer APEX software offers time-saving design features that provide RTI dealers greater profit potential. Referred to by Stokke as a “global shift” in the how the software works, while the customization capabilities still exist, much of the time-consuming tasks required to build an interface have been drastically reduced.

Instead dealers can enter the type of component and the room in which it resides, and the software automatically creates the interface.

“RTI dealers have had a lot of success with our Integration Designer software over the past 20 years,” says Stokke. “In today’s economy, integrators need to offer very competitive pricing, and need a software that requires less time to configure to help boost profits.”

At CEDIA 2016, the latest version of the Integration Designer APEX software will be demonstrated at booth #3400 and at RTI-hosted training sessions on Friday, Sept. 16.

RTI also continues to demonstrate its support of Z-Wave technology, and at CEDIA will showcase both RTI and Pro Control versions of a Z-Wave interface, the ZW-9 and Pro.zwi, respectively. With the release of these two products, the systems will provide tighter integration with Z-Wave enabled devices such as lights, thermostats, and door locks. The two brands will also have on display a complete lineup of RTI and Pro Control Z-Wave lighting solutions.

Lastly, expect to see another new touchscreen at the RTI booth this year. Details remain under wraps, but it will offer dealers a versatile solution applicable for both residential and commercial markets.
