Introducing a pair of new 4K projectors, the new BenQ HT8060 and HT9060 CinePro 4K UHD HDR home cinema projectors are engineered to provide integrators a choice of reasonably priced high-performance projectors.
The new BenQ projectors incorporate the company's CinematicColor technology and the latest Texas Instruments' (TI) digital light processing (DLP) chipsets to deliver UltraHD 4K images that include high dynamic range (HDR) compatibility.

BenQ 4K Projectors Use Philips ColorSpark HLD LED System
BenQ says it developed the HT8060 and HT9060 CinePro 4K projectors to recreate a commercial cinematic experience, while TI says its chipset technologies, which are used for commercial applications, help the latest BenQ products to produce 8.3 million pixels.
The THX-certified HT8060 employs BenQ's CinematicColor, which is capable of recreating the Rec. 709 color standard.
The company provides a factory calibration report documenting that the projector was set up to produce D65 color temperatures, along with the correct gamma, black level, white level, color saturation, brightness and contrast levels that are part of the Rec. 709 specification.
The HT9060 combines the company's CinematicColor technology with Philips' ColorSpark HLD LED system to deliver the DCI-P3 color standard, the commercial cinema color standard that is wider than Rec. 709.

According to BenQ, the use of the ColorSpark HLD LED system allows the projector to produce three times the output of typical LED-based light engines, and it also eliminates the hassle of changing bulbs, providing users with years of nearly maintenance-free use.
The projectors are compatible with the Panamorph Paladin anamorphic lens to provide 2.4:1 aspect ratios without blackbars, and also provide the Imaging Science Foundation's (ISF) Certified Visual Calibration ISFccc calibration suite, as well as 1.5x times zoom.
BenQ says the projectors' front-facing ventilation supports the placement of the products in a variety of locations, including ceiling placement through their compatibility with most of the market's ceiling mount products.
