Basalte comes to ISE 2017 in Amsterdam with an updated Deseo HVAC control panel, its new S4 music server and an active speaker concept to share with attendees, as well as native Crestron integration with Sentido switches.
Basalte's Deseo touch-sensitive controller gets a design upgrade to match the company's elegant, easy-to-use, handmade in Belgium design philosophy.
Deseo integrates with KNX, the international standard for home automation, as well as Lutron HomeWorks QS and Crestron. Its OLED user interface manages set point, fan speed and temperature modes.
The control panel has an integrated temperature sensor and multitouch functionality to quickly turn the lights on and off, using a welcome and goodbye scene.
This is the first time the international market has seen the Deseo HVAC control panel since it was released at CEDIA 2016 last year.
Native Integration with Crestron
Basalte also announced that forthcoming new versions of its Sentido switch will include Cresnet technology from Crestron.
As a result of this collaboration, Crestron dealers will be able to integrate the touch-sensitive switch with their systems to control lights, scenes, shades and more.
Sentido is a touch-sensitive switch with an integrated temperature sensor and multitouch functionalities, available in finishes like aluminum, bronze, glass and leather.
Sentido for Cresnet switches are manufactured and validated under the Crestron Integrated Partner Program. Basalte says the new switches will be available shortly after ISE 2017.
