Acclaim Lighting, a developer of advanced lighting technologies, has introduced its new Terra Drum series of all-weather in-ground, drive-over ready rated fixtures designed for recessed façade and tree lighting applications.
The Los Angeles-based manufacturer states that its latest product line is available in 15-, 30- and 60-watt versions, and the products have a drive-over rating of up to 6,000 pounds. (2,721kg). Acclaim Lighting points out the new Terra Drum all-weather lights are offered in 2400K, 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, Dynamic White (2700K-6000K), Quad Spectrum (RGBW, W=3000K), Quad White 4000K, and Quad White 6000K versions. The company goes on to say the white version of the fixture produces up to 4000 lumens, while the color versions deliver up to 1800 lumens.
According to Acclaim Lighting The new fixtures are engineered to deliver beam angles of 10 x 10 degrees, 10 x 60 degrees, 25 x 25 degrees, 30 x 60 degrees, 40 x 40 degrees, 60 x 60 degrees, and 90 x 90 degrees, and an asymmetric wall wash (60 x 60 degrees + 20-degree tilt). Additionally, Acclaim Lighting boasts that its Terra-Tilt adjuster allows integrators to fine-tune the beam position once each fixture is in place without compromising environmental protection.
The company emphasizes the Terra Drums series of fixtures feature a die-cast aluminum housing with marine-grade coating, a glass-top lens with an optional slip-resistant coating, and a 316L stainless steel trim ring finish for long-term performance. Optional black, white, brass or custom color trims are available to aid the lighting products to integrate into a wealth of environments. Moreover, The all-weather lights are also available in a standard optic or 100% frosted glass, direct-view version.
Acclaim Lighting notes the Terra Drums can be quickly and easily daisy-chained in long runs using unified power and DMX control links. Fixture configuration is achieved using RDM over the control line. Terra Drums operate at 100-277 volts AC, 50/60 Hz, and have 0-100% dimming via DMX / RDM native, 0-10 volts (Sink) via an external ZDM-6, and DALI via an external DDC-1 AC.
In addition, the Acclaim Lighting products are IP68, IK10, and 3G rated with anti-theft security screws for almost any installation environment, and the Terra Drum series perform in temperatures ranging from -40-degrees Fahrenheit (-40°C) to 131-degrees Fahrenheit (55°C). The fixture has a 150,000-hour performance life with a five-year limited warranty.
