Hisense is launching the AX5140Q Sound System, a new 5.1.4 surround sound system designed for home theater environments and casual TV watching.
The company bills the AX5140Q as an audiophile system featuring 5.1.4-channel Dolby Atmos, True Wireless Rear Surround and Hi-Concerto technology. Hisense says the system includes a total of 13 speakers, including up-firing drivers and a 6.5-inch subwoofer.
The company’s Hi-Concerto technology is designed to create a sound system that leverages the TV’s built-in speakers as well as the external speakers for the surround sound, spatial audio effect.
The two rear surround speakers are wireless, allowing for placement flexibility and feature the company’s Pure Surround Tech for an immersive experience.
The system also supports HDMI In, 4K 60Hz passthrough, Bluetooth 5.3, and EzPlay compatibility for compatibility across multiple devices.
The Hisense AX5140Q Sound System will be available starting this summer for $399.
The company recently announced the HT Saturn Wireless Home Theater System, a more advanced system designed for larger TVs.
