Daisy, a national home and small business technology installation and services company, has expanded into Michigan with the acquisition of Automation Design + Entertainment (ADE), an award-winning technology integration business owned by industry veteran Peter Cook.

Automation Design + Entertainment has served residential and commercial clients in the west Michigan area for three decades and stands as a smart home market leader throughout the Midwest. Among several other accolades, the company has won the Electronic House Home of the Year Gold award; the company has received the Consumer Technology Association’s Mark of Excellence award, and the integration firm has been named to the CE Pro 100.

“We are thrilled to welcome the ADE team to Daisy,” says Hagan Kappler, co-founder and CEO of Daisy. “The team’s reputation for business excellence provides a strong foundation for Daisy to build out a broader Midwest presence.”

Automation Design + Entertainment Acquisition Brings Daisy One Step Closer to True National Status

With Automation Design + Entertainment joining the Daisy network, it will continue operating under the leadership of Cook, the company’s founder and president. Cook is a CEDIA Certified Electronic Systems Designer and Outreach Instructor, as well as a THX certified home theater designer and Instructor. Additionally, Cook serves on several committees in support of the Home Builders Association both locally and nationally.

“We’re excited to join the Daisy family to expand our resources and network of skilled integrators,” comments Cook. “Daisy’s M&A capabilities, technology stack, marketing resources, supply chain connections, recruiting and training support, and recurring services expertise are just some of the reasons why ADE will strengthen and grow in value through this partnership.”

Daisy asserts that it has emerged as a leading name in smart home technology integration, experiencing significant growth due to a strategic combination of franchising and acquisitions. With the addition of Automation Design + Entertainment, Daisy now has 20 locations across eight states.
