Acoustic Design Systems (ADS), a Las Vegas-based commercial and residential home automation and security solutions integrator, was chosen as the exclusive home automation and security partner for The Canyon Residences at Ascaya.
Designed and Built by Blue Heron, the design-build firm behind many custom homes in Ascaya, The Canyon Residences features a resort-style, lock-and-leave enclave of striking and architecturally significant homes.
“We are excited to team with Acoustic Design Systems on Ascaya’s Canyon Community,” says Chris Beucler, chief expansion officer at Blue Heron. “They took the time to understand the buyer profile so that we were offering a complete automation package that the discerning buyer would appreciate and still be able to customize to their specific needs and wants.”
Utilizing the latest residential smart home technology from Crestron, ADS will be designing and customizing smart home systems, pre-wiring, and installing automation solutions for all 51 multimillion-dollar homes in the Canyon Residences community.
“We are thrilled to be involved in this project with Ascaya and Blue Heron. Our aim in designing the home technology systems within The Canyon Residences was to meet the expectations of this exclusive community’s high-level buyers,” comments Christopher Sterle, founder and CEO of Acoustic Design Systems. “Prioritizing features like lighting control and modern roller shades, we selected the Crestron Home platform for its scalability and ease of use while ensuring each home is wired for future expandability, allowing buyers to personalize their living spaces to suit their evolving lifestyles.”
The smart home solutions selected for the Canyon Residences will provide homeowners with the long-term ability to continually upgrade both products and technology to help ensure their home remains adaptable to new innovations and their changing needs. The homes will feature an upgraded network with professional-grade W-Fi access points to support reliability and minimizing network outages or downtime. Each home will have a smart video doorbell and electronic door lock, smart thermostats, alarm system, and in-ceiling speakers, which will all be controllable through a single app on a smartphone or an in-wall touchscreen. This streamlined approach ADS asserts, offers an elegant and convenient way for homeowners to manage all devices in one place.
The homes will run Crestron Home OS with systems that include Crestron wireless lighting control and motorized shades.
“The Canyon Residences at Ascaya are a beautiful example of blending elevated home design with advanced technology control,” adds Michael Short, senior director of marketing at Crestron. “The smart home technology was thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly with the aesthetics of the property while still delivering seamless automation and personalized functionality for every homeowner.”
