Hisense is making its lineup of lifestyle art-inspired CanvasTVs larger, introducing new 75-inch and 85-inch models that cater to both the growing art TV trend and demand for larger TVs.
The CanvasTV, first introduced by Hisense in July 2024, is designed to essentially look like a framed piece of art when mounted to a wall, similar to The Frame from Samsung. Other manufacturers in on the art TV trend include TCL and Skyworth. At launch, the CanvasTV line included only 55-inch and 65-inch models, but the company has also been in on the mega-large TV trend that is catapulting the company into fierce competition in the TV market.
Samsung, however, has already offered larger versions of The Frame up to 85 inches.
Larger Screens, Same Style
Like the smaller models, these larger CanvasTV models are designed to be more immersive screens that don’t sacrifice aesthetics and style. The TVs feature the company’s anti-glare display and ultra-slim wall mount.
They also feature Art Mode, which allows users to display curated artwork of personal photography. Like other similar TVs, the new products also include a frame to enhance the TV’s appearance as a piece of art. Included is a teak magnetic frame, but the company says other optional frames are available but sold separately.
According to Hisense, the 75-inch CanvasTV will retail for $2,499.99, and the 85-inch model will be $3,999.99. Currently, the lineup’s 65-inch model is available for $1,297.99, and the 55-inch model is available for as low as $697.99 at some online retailers.
These TVs run on the GoogleTV operating system and are compatible with smart home systems.
“CanvasTV has always been about blending technology and design seamlessly,” said David Gold, President of Hisense Americas and Hisense USA. “The CanvasTV vision was never just about delivering a great image, it was about curating a personal space. Now, with these larger sizes, we’re taking that vision to the next level.”
