MetraAV is heading to the 2021 CEDIA Expo to showcase new products at booth number 4200.
The Fla.-based electronics company states that after a year of virtual events, attendees will be able to pick up and see new products in person, talk with sales representatives, and meet the product developers who designed these new solutions.
During the show, which takes place on Sept. 1-3 in Indianapolis, MetraAV will showcase new surveillance cameras, as well as improved power distribution boxes, new premium audio cables, HDMIÂ extenders, and a versatile new audio extender.Â
Other products that MetraAV with showcase in its CEDIA booth include its Velox 8K fiber HDMI cable. MetraAV points out the EHV-HDG2 series cable supports 48Gbps up to 100 meters and is the longest of several HDMI cables designed by MetraAV that support 8K resolutions. MetraAV explains the products support all color subsampling specifications, including 4:4:4, 4:2:2, and 4:2:0, deep color, and Dynamic HDR to enable full-range 8K and even 10K compatibility.
Helping to ensure system reliability, the company notes that its proprietary, state-of-the-art technologies that are built into the products ensures compatibility between the source and display. Looking back, MetraAV says that even though the cable was unable to be shown at last year’s show due to the event’s cancellation, it received a 2020 Residential Top New Technology award for the 100-meter model, the EHV-HDG2-100. Now, with the return to in-person activities the company continues, attendees will be able to see this cable in person at the booth, along with several other solutions for 8K connectivity.
In addition to its booth activities, MetraAV will also be participating in the Josh.ai scavenger hunt and will have a Josh Nano installed in its booth to showcase how they have partnered with the luxury and privacy focused voice automation platform.
Summing up the products it is set to show at the annual trade event, MetraAV emphasizes these next-generation solutions are designed for both commercial and residential use, and these products underscore its rebranding efforts where it changed its name from Metra Home Theater Group to MetraAV.
