Celebrating 25 years of business, the Shakopee, Minn.-based control and automation company Remote Technologies Inc. (RTI) is releasing its special edition T3x universal remote control

RTI introduced the special edition remote to dealers at CEDIA 2017 and explained how the product represents the legacy its products have created over two decades.

“As we mark our 25th year, RTI is laser-focused on the future and continuing our proud legacy of creating and delivering not only exceptional control and automation products for the custom-install channel, but also great user experiences,” states Mike Everett, vice president of global sales, RTI.

RTI points out the T3x universal remote control is its flagship remote product, and the 25th anniversary edition version features a matte-white finish that distinguishes the remote from the standard version model.

Explaining some of the features built into the T3x, RTI says the state-of-the-art universal remote control incorporates a 3.5-inch flush-mount high resolution touchscreen and fully programmable soft-touch buttons.

Elaborating on the ergonomics of the remote, RTI says the T3x employs 35 assignable/programmable keypad buttons with interchangeable keycap labels, four custom laser Shark engraveable buttons, and cursor button control that enables list scrolling.

Building on the functionality and features of some of its previous models, RTI notes the T3x universal remote also features grip sensors, an accelerometer, two-way remote capabilities, Wi-Fi and dual RF connectivity.

The remote control is completely customizable, and it ships with Lithium-Ion battery and companion dock, non-volatile flash memory, and an integrated microphone for video-intercom functionality.

RTI backs the T3x with a three-year parts and labor warranty, and a one-year battery warranty.
